Argentine Tango is a dance of passion and intimacy, requiring control, balance and an intimate connection between follower and leader. In all honesty it is not an instant ‘fun fix’ like salsa but requires a little more thought and practice. However, once mastered it provides an intelligent, challenging and enjoyable dance.
Sessions are lead by experienced group members. Guest teachers, including the missed Federico (Tango Master) will be invited for occasional special workshops.
The group, at a minimum, need to cover the cost of the hall plus a little extra towards overheads and future events e.g. music, publicity, guest teachers etc. This is currently £6.00 for the regular once monthly classes, with special prices for guest teachers.
New beginners are always welcome and will be looked after, learning the basic moves.
