Gentle Exercise with Brian

 

Brian has combined his dance background and exercise expertise (CYQ fitness qualified, Level 3) to create his unique approach to exercise for the elderly.

 

He has taught in numerous care situations in The Fylde and Preston. Participants have ranged from 60 to 90+. Sessions can be totally chair based or standing plus chair; lasting up to 1 hr and not forgetting that all important chat and, hopefully, cup of tea afterwards.

 

Exercise improves: Heart and Lung capacity; Mobility; Strengthens bones, joints and muscles. Rhythmic movements to music involve motor skills: improving mental agility and memory. All in all sessions are fun and improve general wellbeing
